The amazing Jae shows us how to do a pastel buzzcut with leopard spots inspired by Lisa Frank! Using Angelic, Minted, Cute, Dreamy, Precious, and Daring.
Step 1
Use the
Ghosted Bleach Kit to lighten your hair to a level 10 or above. Pastel colours will only show up on freshly bleached, extremely light hair. Let the bleach sit for about 20-30 minutes until you've reached the appropriate level and wash it out with
Holyplex shampoo to ensure all residue has been removed.
Step 2
Once at the right hair lightness, you can start applying the dye to towel-dry hair! Use
Angelic,
Cute,
Dreamy,
Precious, and
Minted in different patches around your head. Use organic shapes and go with the flow! Let the dye sit for at least 20 minutes (the longer, the better) and rinse out with lukewarm water and towel dry.
Step 3
Use
Daring black and a small paint brush to paint leopard spots using stippling motions on your hair. Think of them as messy, unfinished circles with varying thicknesses. Again, leave in for at least 15 minutes, rinse out carefully with lukewarm water, and towel dry.
Step 4
To set the look, use the
Holyplex finishing spray and spray around the whole look. This ensures the colour stays in your hair longer by closing the hair follicles. Don't wash your hair for at least 48 hours after dyeing. To prevent fading and nourture your hair, use the
Holyplex haircare set any time you wash your hair.
