The day started off getting to know each other with some tea and coffee from our first Attitude Cafe! We then went straight into our first demo of the day, where Evelien and Cari explained the full process of bleaching model Sam's hair. Evelien taught us about what bleach does to the molecular structure of our hair and how to correctly judge which volume to use and how to prevent damage.


Before starting the workshop, we enjoyed lunch in the Attitude Cafe! All handmade with love by Rob and Rebecca <3


Onto the DIY part! Evelien lead the group and showed everyone how to do a strand test on their own hair using Ghosted 20 volume bleach (she's never bleached it before so this was new to her as well!) We also took before and after pictures to see everyone's results. Rob, one of the owners of Attitude, even joined in and tried it on his beard! Sophie and Lisa were also amazing help giving people advice and washing out & drying everyone's hair.


We then went back to the studio for the second demo about dyeing! Everyone got to try a colour on their bleached strand, while Evelien and Cari taught us more about Attitude's dyes and how to best take care of your hair. A few of the most important aspects: the colour wheel and the pH scale!


Last but certainly not least, the results of our amazing model, Sam! We used Wicked purple, Dramatic black, and Vampy red.
